Jamie Lee Curtis rules in this trashy, melodramatic 90s erotic thriller. She stars as the sociopathic, bi polar mother of 3 boys who took off and abandoned him with their father played by Peter Gallagher. Years later she returns after hes gotten his life together, his boys are happy and there's a new woman in his life played by Joanne Whaley Kilmer. The movie is gaudy and inappropriate in the most entertaining lifetimey way. Ranging from exposing herself to her son to smashing a picture into her face and cutting herself with class. It's the kind of balls to the walls performance that makes a movie like this and it really does. Sure it's a bit cliched but there's a reason why they make so many of these and it's because the formula is pretty fun and when they get a diva as their lead performance it's in the bag.
