This is a fun flick. After all these years I still feel like the first takes itself a little too seriously and is overly goofy in parts. Centered around a group of high school seniors on their way to Paris when suddenly one of them has a vision that the planes going to explode. He tries to warn everyone and in a commotion a few get off just in time to watch the plane blow up. Filled with questions the survivors go their separate ways but begin to die in mysterious ways. Devon Sawa's character along with Ali Larter discover a pattern and try and break it before there's no one left. The story is intriguing and feels like it's new although it's just basically a slasher film with an invisible villain. That being said the death scenes are a little tame in this one compared to the others. But that bus scene still gets me everytime. The only meh one is the teachers it's just severe, silly overkill. The film is overly entertaining and leads up to an exciting well thought out finale that leaves the door open for a slew of sequels.
