I really wanted to like this movie. All the right elements are in place for a nifty retro slasher. A sorority, a killer a spooky house, a big slumber party but it's just mostly kinda boring. They throw in some awful, pretentious nightmare sequences that may be flashbacks making it all confusing and stalling out the pacing from having any real intensity. Sure there are some moments here and there and once it gets to the goodies it has a bit of a nice flow. But it's all so overly mediocre with meh death pieces that unfortunately its forgettable. The only reason I think people remember this one is because of its trashy, superior sequel.
