Hulu's Into the Dark Halloween entry is a goofy but creative little film entitled Uncanny Annie. The setup is pretty by the numbers as a group of bland teens gather to play board games on Halloween night in honor of their friend who passed away last year. They find an old board game and are suddenly transported into a different place in which every move may be their last "Jumanji" style but not as exciting. There are some neat bits here and there like the grim reaper. But mostly it feels quite juvenile. It still fits in well enough with the other films in the anthology but lacks their innovative nature.
